1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the guidelines and expectations for the use of the "Is Everyone Safe" software-as-a-service solution (the "Software") provided by Is Everyone Safe Limited (the "Provider"). The Software is available in two versions: a community mode, free for use by individuals and small-scale users, and a licensed version for corporations. By using the Software, you agree to comply with this AUP and any applicable laws and regulations. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in disciplinary actions, including but not limited to suspension or termination of access to the Software.

2. Permitted Use

a. Community Version

The community version of the Software is intended for critical broadcasting and alert response systems by individuals and small-scale users. It provides a platform for timely communication, coordination, and information sharing related to emergency alerts and response management. Users of the community version are strictly prohibited from using the Software as a sales and marketing tool.

b. Licensed Version

The licensed version of the Software is designed to cater to the needs of corporations. It includes additional features and capabilities beyond the community version, allowing corporations to utilise the Software for critical broadcasting, alert response systems, and related purposes. However, even users of the licensed version are prohibited from using the Software as a sales and marketing tool.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited for all users of the Software, regardless of the version used:

  • Sales and Marketing: Using the Software for sales, marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes, including sending unsolicited communications, bulk emails, or engaging in any spamming activities.
  • Unauthorised Access: Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Software or any associated systems, networks, or accounts.
  • Distribution of Malicious Content: Uploading, distributing, or transmitting any content that contains viruses, malware, spyware, or any other malicious code that could disrupt the functionality of the Software or compromise the security of the Provider's systems.
  • Unauthorised Sharing of Credentials: Sharing, lending, or disclosing your Software credentials (e.g., username, password) to any unauthorised individuals or entities.
  • Data Breach: Unauthorised access, disclosure, or theft of any sensitive or confidential data stored within the Software.
  • Unauthorised Modifications: Making unauthorised modifications, reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Software or any part thereof.
  • Violation of Intellectual Property: Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of the Provider or any third party, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
  • Illegal Activities: Using the Software for any illegal or fraudulent activities, including but not limited to hacking, phishing, spamming, or engaging in activities that violate local, national, or international laws.
  • Excessive Resource Consumption: Engaging in activities that unreasonably consume or overload the Software's resources, such as excessive data storage, bandwidth, or processing power.
  • Impersonation: Impersonating another user or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation.

4. Reporting Violations

Users are encouraged to promptly report any known or suspected violations of this AUP to the Provider's designated contact person or support team. The Provider will investigate all reported violations and take appropriate actions as deemed necessary.

5. Consequences of Violations

Any violation of this AUP may result in disciplinary actions, including but not limited to:

  • Warning: Verbal or written warning notifying the user of the violation.
  • Temporary Suspension: Temporary suspension of access to the Software for a specified period.
  • Termination: Permanent termination of access to the Software and any associated services.
  • Legal Actions: In cases of illegal activities or severe violations, the Provider reserves the right to involve law enforcement authorities and pursue legal remedies.

6. Policy Updates

The Provider reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this AUP as necessary to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or business needs.
